Аннотация: В статье рассмотрены проблемы описания семантики наименований лиц в ракурсе феномена политической корректности и с точки зрения тональности общения на материале контрастивных исследований в русском и английском языках. В статье обосновывается необходимость введения специальных словарных помет, которые желательно использовать в словарных дефинициях при описании семантической структуры упомянутых слов или словосочетаний в соответствующих изданиях и в процессе контрастивного анализа единиц данной лексики и их переводных соответствий в языке сопоставления

Abstract: The study presents the problems of persons’ nominations’ semantic description from the perspective of political correctness and from the point of view of tonality of communication on the basis of contrastive research in Russian and English. The study gives proof of introduction requirements of special lexicographic labels, which are desirable to be used in lexicographic definitions when describing semantic structure of the abovementioned words and word combinations in the corresponding editions or in the process of contrastive analysis of the given language units and their translations in the language of comparison
