Abstract: This article touches upon one of the most interesting and exciting part of political discourse study-election campaign; to be more precise- 2004 presidential election campaign in the US is in the focus of this research. Speeches of two candidates are analyzed with the help of Turner and Fauconnier’s blend pattern, to single out the most common source-spheres for each candidate and at the same time to show the very difference (in sense of cognitive linguistics) of political agenda of the two candidates
