Аннотация: На основании данных ассоциативного эксперимента, проведенного среди носителей русского языка от 17 до 85 лет, рассматривается структура категории «интеллект политика», определяются специфические черты данной категории (абстрактность, открытость и «рассеянность» структуры, отсутствие плотного ядра и т. п.), выявляются существенные признаки и факторы ее формирования, отмечается отличие наивного представления носителей русского языка о категории «интеллект политика» от научной категоризации интеллекта

Abstract: On the basis of the data of an association experiment conducted with native speakers of Russian aged 17 to 85 the article studies the structure of the category of “intellect of a politician”, defines the specific features of this category (abstractedness, openness and diffusion of the category, absence of a solid nucleolus, etc.). The author reveals the essential features and factors of the formation of the category and marks the difference of the naïve conception of the native speakers of Russian about the category of “intellect of a politician” from the scientific categorization of intellect
