Аннотация: Авторы исследуют относительно малоизученный в отечественной лингвистике феномен контрфактуального нарратива на материале романа американского фантаста Ф. Дика «Человек в Высоком замке». Американский фантаст XX в. Ф. Дик является известным представителем политических писателейконтрфактуалов. В рамках политиологии и истории контрфактуальный нарратив становится попыткой воссоздать возможный сценарий развития какой-либо страны (например, в зарубежной исторической политологии нередко рассматриваются маршруты развития США с уцелевшим после покушения президентом Дж. Кеннеди). В современных исследованиях, посвященных феномену контрфактуальности, часто обращают внимание на характер взаимодействия между антецедентом (предшествующим) и консеквентом (последующим), описывают формальное выражение этого взаимодействия через языковые формы, например, формы сослагательного наклонения. Отмечается влияние на фабулу романа Ф. Дика личных наблюдений над современными ему политическими процессами (слежка спецслужб за простыми гражданами, политическая цензура, стремление к утверждению однополярного мира, сопровождаемое гонкой вооружений). В канву произведения Ф. Дика вплетена интерпретация китайской «Книги перемен», что позволило авторам статьи обратиться к сложному вопросу понимания канонических китайских текстов, их адекватному переводу. Авторы приходят к выводу о том, что интерпретация посланий «Книги перемен» подобна поиску ответов на китайские загадки, содержащие многочисленные смысловые пласты. Другим важным выводом стала идея о пророческом послании Ф. Дика, фокусирующем внимание на исключительно важной роли Китая как геополитического лидера, способствующего становлению многополярного мира

Abstract: The authors investigate the phenomenon of counterfactual narrative, relatively little studied in Russian linguistics, based on the material of the novel by the American science fiction writer F. Dick “The Man in the High Castle”. The American science fiction writer of the 20th century F. Dick is a well-known representative of political writerscounterfactuals. Within the framework of political science and history, the counterfactual narrative becomes an attempt to recreate a possible scenario for the development of a country (for example, in foreign historical political science, the routes of the development of the United States with President Kennedy having presumably survived the assassination attempt). In modern studies devoted to the phenomenon of counterfactuality, attention is often paid to the nature of the interaction between the antecedent (something happening before) and the consequent (something happening after), and the formal expression of this interaction is described with the help of linguistic forms, for example, forms of the subjunctive mood. The authors note the influence of personal observations of contemporary political processes on the plot of Dick's novel (surveillance of ordinary citizens by special services, political censorship, the desire to establish a unipolar world, accompanied by an arms race). The interpretation of the Chinese “Book of Changes” is interwoven in the texture of Dick's novel, which allowed the authors of the article to address the complex issue of understanding canonical Chinese texts and their adequate translation. The authors come to the conclusion that the interpretation of the messages of the “Book of Changes” is similar to the search for answers to Chinese riddles containing numerous semantic layers. Another important conclusion is the idea of the prophetic message of Dick, focusing attention on the extremely important role of China as a geopolitical leader contributing to the formation of the multipolar world
