Abstract: The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of Russian and Polish lexems, naming people by the kind of relationship (mother, father, brother, sister etc.), from the point of view of the subjective estimation forms. This material looks not symmetrically and not always synonymous, causing considerable difficulties for not native-speakers from the point of view of relevance of the appropriate forms using. The complex of parameters of the description is allocated: 1) word-formation and usual-stylistic loading of formants; 2) absence or presence of nominative differentiations (дядя / wuj, stryj; невестка / synowa, bratowa; племянник / siostrzeniec, brataniec); 3) distinctions of stylistic markers – usual spheres; 4) subsequent semantics (use of investigated words as designations not of the relatives). The parameters correspond to the aspects cooperating among themselves – formants, nomination, usus, semantics – and assume at the following stages, derivative steps, specification and expansion with reference to a level of morphemes’ structure compound
