Аннотация: Экономическое развитие Китая и России приводит обе страны к сотрудничеству, причем не только в экономической и политической сферах, но и в области культуры, сельского хозяйства, авиации и космонавтики и др. Важнейший элемент сотрудничества между Китаем и Россией связан с поддержкой на внешнеполитической арене. Это делает актуальными исследования речи лидеров обеих стран. В настоящей работе рассматривается функционирование метафор в речи председателя Китая Си Цзиньпина. Этот политик демонстрирует глубокое знание китайской культуры, в его речи часто встречаются пословицы, поговорки и фразеологизмы, которые трудно понять в рамках русской культуры. Особое значение для развития двусторонних отношений между странами приобретает достоверная передача идей лидеров государств при переводе, выражение политической позиции с учетом культурных особенностей другой страны. В свете этого метафоры в речи председателя КНР Си Цзиньпина рассматриваются в лингвокультурологическом и лингвокогнитивном аспектах

Abstract: Economic development of China and Russia promotes cooperation of these countries not only in economic and political spheres, but also in the field of culture, agriculture, aviation and space, etc. The most important element of cooperation between China and Russia is linked with support in the international arena. This makes the analysis of the speeches of the leaders of the two countries especially urgent. The paper considers the functioning of metaphors in the speech of China's President Xi Jinping. This politician demonstrates a deep knowledge of Chinese culture, he uses proverbs, sayings and idioms in his speech that are difficult to understand in the framework of Russian culture. Of particular importance for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries is proper translation of the speeches pronounced by the leaders, the expression of a political position, taking into account cultural peculiarities of another country. In the light of this, metaphors in the speech of Chinese President Xi Jinping are analyzed in linguocultural and linguocognitive aspects
