Аннотация: Конфликтность и агрессивность современного мира, желание безопасности на всех уровнях — от безопасности каждой отдельной личности до общегосударственной безопасности — определяет тот факт, что все более возрастает ценность и значимость тех, кто является гарантом спокойствия и стабильности в государстве. Анализ научной литературы показал, что на сегодняшний день опубликованы статьи, посвященные особенностям концептуализации образа военного, описанию концептов «солдат» и «защитник», однако до сих пор неисследованными остаются аспекты, связанные со способами языковой репрезентации образа полицейского в текстах разных жанров. Это и обусловливает актуальность данного исследования, освещающего один из аспектов моделирования языкового портрета полицейского, основанный на текстах диалогов отечественных и зарубежных кинофильмов XX—XXI вв. Материалом исследования послужили цитаты из фильмов и сериалов, содержащие упоминания о полицейском. В работе использовались методы структурно-семантического анализа цитат, контекстуального анализа, описательный и классификационный методы. Выявлен ряд составляющих, служащих индикаторами статуса и роли полицейского. Отечественный и зарубежный кинематограф представляет собой значимый источник для наблюдения за манипулированием общественным сознанием, поскольку навязываемые фильмами и сериалами ценности представляют собой важную составляющую картины мира современной языковой личности. В данном исследовании рассматривается образ полицейского, формируемый современными фильмам и сериалами, с точки зрения ряда ключевых характеристик имиджа работника полиции. Проведенное исследование отличается новизной в плане выявления составляющих языкового портрета полицейского, анализ которых позволяет говорить о негативном и позитивном отношении к работникам данной сферы

Abstract: The spread of conflict and aggressiveness of the modern world and the desire for security on all levels – from a single person to the whole state – are determined by the fact that the value and significance of those who are called upon to guarantee security and stability in the country is steadily increasing. The analysis of research literature on the problem has shown that up to now there has been published articles describing the peculiarities of conceptualization of the images of a military man, the concepts of “soldier” and “defender”, but the aspects associated with the ways of linguistic representation of the image of a policeman in texts of different genres have not been properly explored yet. The article highlights one of the aspects of modeling of the linguistic representation of a policeman based on the texts of domestic and foreign films of the 20th - 21st centuries, which determines the urgency of the study. The practical material under study includes quotes from films and TV serials containing references to the police officer. The methods of structural-semantic analysis of quotations, contextual analysis, and the descriptive and classification methods were used in the work. The authors single out a number of components that serve as indicators of the status and role of a policeman. The domestic and foreign cinematography are significant sources for observation of manipulation of public consciousness, since the values imposed by films and serials make up a significant part of the worldview of the modern linguistic personality. This study examines the image of a policeman which is formed by modern films and TV serials, in terms of a number of key characteristics of the image of a police officer. The research is noted for its novelty as it outlines the components of the linguistic representation of a policeman, the analysis of which allows us to talk about negative and positive attitudes towards the workers in this sphere
