Abstract: The article studies the logics of denotative and connotative use of the proper name “Kerenskiy” in modern Russian mass media. The conclusion is that this precedent name refers to productive and multipolar ones (the ones having potential to express different qualities), with absolute predominance of negative evaluation which is actual in political communication
