Abstract: The present article deals with the problem of modeling “future” in Russian party manifestos that are considered to be a sort of manual which helps the public to interpret the policy of this or that party. The author argues that party manifestos, though being ideologically different, still have more similarities than diversities. Examples from the research illustrate this position
