Abstract: In this article we analyze new collocations that are typical of modern Polish general public and political discourse. The necessity to register these collocations in dictionaries sets forth the aims as follows: to determine degree of their stability; to provide clear definitions; to find reasons that formed the ground for appearance of such collocations in speech. Such structures’ analysis demonstrates modern linguistic trends in political discourse and helps to determine the nominative, axiological and pragmatic functions of these collocations
