Аннотация: В статье рассматриваются способы реализации принципа диалогичности с позиции пространственно-временных характеристик текста. В качестве материала исследования используются транскрипты программ американского вечернего шоу. В работе задействованы методы моделирования, анализ и синтез, кейсметод, стилистический анализ, структурно-функциональный метод, анализ текстовой информации (фактуальной, концептуальной и подтекстовой — по И. Р. Гальперину). В статье ставится цель выявить в выпусках программ «Last Week Tonight», посвященных теме коронавируса, особенности реализации внешней и внутренней диалогичности текстов, свидетельствующие о дискретности и в то же время единстве их хронотопа. Рассматривается диалогичность на уровне текста обособленного выпуска вечернего шоу (внутренняя диалогичность) и на уровне дискурсивного пространства-времени (внешняя диалогичность). В работе показано, как диалогически взаимодействующие тексты шоу создают еще одно дискурсивное пространство-время, что приводит к их интеграции на уровне дискурса. С другой стороны, в результате анализа обнаружено, что для дискурса не имеет существенного значения разделение передачи на выпуски. Исходя из этого, не отдельные дискретные объекты, а континуальный текст вечернего шоу создает вокруг себя дискурсивное пространство-время, в котором точка «ноль», вмещающая в себя единый текст вечернего шоу, является диалогическим посредником между частями дискурса, хотя и не обладает единым хронотопом. Вечернее шоу, исходя из этого, характеризуется дискретно-континуальным дуализмом

Abstract: The article focuses on the ways of implementation of the principle of dialogism from the standpoint of the spatial-temporal characteristics of the text. Transcripts of the late-night show programs are used as research material in this study. The paper employs the methods of modeling, analysis and synthesis, case method, stylistic analysis, structuralfunctional method, and analysis of textual information (factual, conceptual and implicit – according to I. R. Galperin). The article aims to identify the specific features of the implementation of the external and internal dialogism of the texts of the show “Last Week Tonight” devoted to the topic of the coronavirus, that indicate the discreteness and, at the same time, the continuity of their chronotope. Dialogism is studied on the level of the text of a separate issue of the late-night show (internal dialogism) and on the level of the discursive space-and-time (external dialogism). The article shows how dialogically interacting texts of the show create one more discursive space-and-time, which leads to their integration on the level of discourse. On the other hand, the study has revealed that the division of the program into episodes is not essential for the discourse. Based on this, it is not the individual discrete objects, but rather the continual text of the late-night show that creates the discursive space-and-time around itself. The point “zero” involves the whole text of the late-night show and acts as a dialogical mediator between parts of the discourse, although it does not have a common chronotope. With this in view, the latenight show is characterized by dualism of continuity and discreteness
