Аннотация: Проблема, поставленная авторами статьи, — выявление особенностей языковой личности одного из самых авторитетных государственных и политических деятелей современности — канцлера Федеративной Республики Германия Ангелы Меркель. Материалом для исследования послужили предвыборные дебаты, выступления на международных форумах и в бундестаге, обращения к избирателям, интервью, данные лидером «локомотива Евросоюза» журналистам различных СМИ. Антропоцентрический подход, ставший ведущим принципом современного мирового языкознания, обогащенный приемами, разработанными в рамках лингвокультурологии, политической и социальной лингвистики; использование методик изучения языковой личности с учетом ее гендерной принадлежности, ценностных приоритетов, постулируемых в медиаполитическом дискурсе, позволили достичь определенных результатов. Лексико-фразеологические «индикаторы» речей Ангелы Меркель, формулировка ею основных положений внутренней и внешней политики, языковая реакция на кризисные события и на провокационные вопросы дают возможность смодулировать основные параметры ее языковой личности. Это сильный лидер, в котором собственные гендерные признаки «приглушены» и проявляются обычно в отборе языковых средств, всегда соответствующих литературным нормам. Получив физико-химическое образование, Меркель и в медиаполитическом дискурсе говорит логично, строго по-деловому. Войдя в элиту «властителей-мужчин», А. Меркель проявляет мужскую жесткость в формулировке своего мнения. Как лидер нации она позиционирует себя представительницей всего германского общества, которому предназначена высокая миссия — стоять на страже общеевропейских ценностей. Основные концепты, вербализуемые в ее речах и высказываниях, — «Мы (народ Германии)», «Мир», «Свобода», «Демократия», «Толерантность»

Abstract: The aim set by the authors of this paper is to reveal the peculiarities of linguistic personality of one of the most authoritative state and political actors of our time – Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Material for the research comes from various election debates, speeches at international forums and in Bundestag, addresses to voters, interviews of the leader of “the engine of the EU” with journalists of various media outlets. The anthropocentric approach that has become the main principle of modern linguistics, enriched with some procedures developed within cultural, political and social linguistics and application of methods used in the study of linguistic personality in the context of gender and value-based priorities postulated in the media-political discourse, allowed the authors to attain certain results. Lexical and idiomatic markers in Angela Merkel's speeches, her formulation of the basic principles of domestic and foreign policy, her linguistic response to crisis events and provocative questions give a possibility to model the main parameters of her linguistic personality. She is a strong leader with muffled gender attributes, which usually reveal themselves in the selection of linguistic means always conforming to the literary norm. Physical chemist by education, Merkel speaks logically and strictly to the point in the media-political discourse as well. Having being ushered into the elite of male rulers, A. Merkel demonstrates male rigidity when formulating her opinion. As a leader of the nation, she presents herself as a representative of the whole German society, a society destined for a high mission to guard common European values. The main concepts, verbalized in her speeches and utterances are ‘We (the people of Germany)’, ‘Peace’, ‘Freedom’, ‘Democracy’, ‘Tolerance’.
