Аннотация: Рассматривается фрейм «политик»
в современном англоязычном политическом дискурсе,
сопоставляются представления о женщинахполитиках и мужчинах-политиках в рамках этого
фрейма. Сформулирована структура фрейма, состоящая из центральных и фоновых модулей, позволяющих выявить гендерные различия и сходства в
биографических и автобиографических материалах

Abstract: The article deals with the study of the frame
―politician‖ in modern English political discourse and
comparison of women- and men-politician representations
in the frame in question. The study reveals the structure of
the frame consisting of central and background modules
which serve as the basis for the study of gender differences and gender similarity in biographies and autobiographies
